Size

Two of each, walking up the dune. Elephants at the front, kangaroos and tortoises bringing up the rear, flamingos somewhere in the middle, and the ark waiting on the ridge under a big pale sky.

Painted in soft pastels — sand, sage, dusty blue, warm grey — so it belongs in a nursery without shouting. Detailed enough that a child finds something new in it every week, quiet enough that you don't mind looking at it for years.

The print

Giclée on heavyweight matte art paper with archival pigment inks. Matte, so there's no glare from the nursery lamp. Ships unframed, rolled in a rigid tube.

All three sizes are standard 3:2 proportions, which is what the artwork is painted at — so nothing is cropped and an off-the-shelf frame fits.

Sizes

  • 18" × 12" — 46 × 30 cm. Above a changing table or a low shelf.
  • 27" × 18" — 69 × 46 cm. Above a cot or a reading corner.
